Hi all, if you don't know me, my name is Oliver Hunt. I'm a software engineer, specialising essentially in JavaScript performance. You may have got here through the various JavaScript demos that I've written over the years, or through twitter, or facebook. But none of those really matter in the grand scheme of things.
This year, I'm taking a break from that to take part in the 2013 AIDS/LifeCycle. The AIDS/LifeCycle is a 7-day, 545 mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles that raises money and awareness for the HIV and AIDS services of the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center, and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
I'll be a roadie on the course this year, helping the cyclists successfully make the journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles, by making sure that have plenty to eat and drink along the way, by looking after their bikes, and by looking after them. It's a long hard, ride and the cyclists need all the help that they can get.
So please support me, support the cyclists, and support those people who suffer from HIV and AIDS.
Any donations would be enormously appreciated by all of us.
